Water mist

Water mist represents the specific way of utilization of water as a fire extinguishing agent. Water mist fire extinguishing equipment ejects microscopic water drops by the means of special nozzles (overall surface of drops made from one litre of water is up to 200 m2) it draws off a large amount of thermal energy from burning and it rapidly decreases the heat radiation level down. By the heat from burning taking water turns into the steam with speed of explosion at boiling point and multiplies its volume 1695 times and it displaces the air from its surrounding. The main effect is cooling one, side effect is the oxygen displacement by the means of water state of matter change.
Proposal and implementation of the water mist fire extinguishing system requires liable approach and special knowledge.
Compared to the classic sprinkler systems demand of the water volume and thereby the spatial pretension is substantially lower.
